CompsognathusMember5 XPApr-29-2013 4:52 PMokay, in the book of jurassic park the lost world, carnotaurus was one of the dinosaurs on the island. But i didnt like the idea of it changing colors like a chameleon. So i really hope they put carnotaurus into jp4, but not make it change colors... The same thing goes for dilophosaurus, they should bring it back to, and make it full size, unlike the young juvenille in the first. They actually grow to about 8 to 9 feet tall and 20-23 feet long.
Tyrannosaurus RexMember6270 XPApr-29-2013 7:57 PMThat is a pretty good idea. I don't like the whole chameleon carnotauras concept either (run out of frog DNA and used chameleon DNA instead?). Maybe if Dilo didn't spit poison (don't really care about that, probably what Dilo is famous for though).Jack of all trades. Master of none
CompsognathusMember5 XPApr-29-2013 8:50 PMbut it would make more sense to name it for its spitting abilities, even though i dont really like it either
Tyrannosaurus RexMember6270 XPApr-29-2013 8:54 PMI think Dilophosaurus means "two crested lizard" (somewhere along those lines) I didn't say I didn't like the poison spitting, I just don't really care for it. Jack of all trades. Master of none
CompsognathusMember5 XPApr-29-2013 9:01 PMit does mean that, ive been studying bout dinosaurs literally since i was 1 or 2 and when i watched jurassic park for the first time years ago, it just got me even more facinated in them and now i know the majority of the names of all the dinosaurs, and ive wanted the same occupation my entire life, paleontology. Only have 3 years till im in college
Tyrannosaurus RexMember6270 XPApr-29-2013 9:23 PMI always wanted to be a palaeontologist (still do). Good luck, hope it turns out good for you. Carno might be in JP4, there has been discussions about foreshadowing. Go to where it says recent discussions, press view more, and the look for the one that says something like "How would you use foreshadowing?" (His pic is an animated one of the T-Rex roaring in the first movie). I think it might help.

CompsognathusMember5 XPApr-29-2013 9:31 PMthanks for the encouragement and hope you find whats good for you too, ive been looking at some other conversations and, you say your from canada?
Tyrannosaurus RexMember6270 XPApr-29-2013 9:39 PMYes. Looked up who you were following (*in sarcastic voice* I wonder why you chose to follow Star Killer). Couldn't figure out how to follow people, so I went to who your following, then I tapped one of the names (I'm using an iPad) then tapped who he's following, and it gave me the option to follow you.
Carnotaurus was pretty cool, it's arms were smaller than T-Rex's in comparison to it's body size, and it was related to Ceratosaurus (which I personally think is a little cooler).
Had to mention Carno just cause that's the point of this discussion.Jack of all trades. Master of none
CompsognathusMember5 XPApr-29-2013 9:42 PMit was actually just to follow someone at that point, i made my profile 2 days ago
Tyrannosaurus RexMember6270 XPApr-29-2013 9:49 PMI noticed that, I checked to see your posts and it said when you joined. I joined when team Rex had 222 people, and team Spino had 80 people. I check the discussions that I'm in before school, after school, and hourly (when my brother is playing gta or something else and we take turns, more frequently).Jack of all trades. Master of none
CompsognathusMember5 XPApr-29-2013 9:57 PMive been checking mine every chance i get. I like to get every update on jp4 as i can get, and ive never seen so much info on it till i found this site, and the cool thing is that you can post about things you would want to see in it and what you wouldnt want to see.
Tyrannosaurus RexMember6270 XPApr-29-2013 10:02 PMI know, that's why I sighted up to, this site is great!Jack of all trades. Master of none
CompsognathusMember5 XPApr-29-2013 10:07 PMi couldnt agree more, i like this more than facebook and twitterLife cannot be contained, it breaks walls, crashes through barriers sometimes painfully, but uh... Life uh, finds a way
CompsognathusMember5 XPApr-29-2013 10:50 PMmr happy lets talk over youtube cause my ipod is slow on scified
Tyrannosaurus RexMember6270 XPApr-29-2013 11:05 PMI guess that could be true with the mutations in some, JP3 pteranodons that attack people, the dilos, and the "chameleon" carnotaurus.Jack of all trades. Master of none

AllosaurusMember4500 XPApr-30-2013 8:28 PMYeah also in the books they combined them more than just frog DNA, they also used snake, lizard, fish, and bird DNA. So for the Dilophosaurus spitting ability came from the spitting cobra DNA and the frills from Frill-lizard DNA, and its skull possibility of DNA corruption with an unknown therapod (which I've read in the JP Institute that its the Movie Dilophosaurus was using a T. rex head). So carnotarus has the Chamelon DNA inside its gene-code.
