CompsognathusMember0 XPJun-01-2013 9:04 PMYutyrannus. I think it was awesome because of the feathers.
CompsognathusMember0 XPJun-01-2013 9:08 PMI like Daspletosaurus a lot. Gorgosaurus and Albertosaurus were alright. Tarbosaurus was too close to T-rex. My favorite non-rex tyrannosaur is probably Daspletosaurus.

CompsognathusMember0 XPJun-01-2013 9:11 PMFirst let me say that Yutyrannus wasn't considered a Tyrannosauridae. My favorite is also Daspletosaur though, because it was the evolutionary forerunner of Tyrannosaurus rex
CompsognathusMember0 XPJun-01-2013 9:13 PMNo Yutyrannus is a tyrannosaur.
CompsognathusMember0 XPJun-01-2013 9:15 PMOh, so it was. Sorry! I got thrown off because of the arm size
CompsognathusMember0 XPJun-01-2013 9:15 PMIt was a little more primitive than others, but Yutyrannus is a tyrannosaur. Helps prove that they too had feathers.
CompsognathusMember0 XPJun-01-2013 9:22 PMIt's kind of like an overgrown Di long. With some differences of course.
CompsognathusMember0 XPJun-01-2013 9:31 PMIt really does resemble a Di-long. The yutyrannus is missing the small Monolophosaur-like crest though, and it's a few hundred million years later than Did Long
CompsognathusMember0 XPJun-01-2013 9:32 PM*Di Long
CompsognathusMember0 XPJun-02-2013 8:32 AMThat was Guan long who had the crest on it's head.
CompsognathusMember0 XPJun-02-2013 2:42 PMDi long has been depicted with a crest, hasn't it?
CompsognathusMember0 XPJun-02-2013 2:44 PMThe di Long I know has been depicted to look rather identical to a Guan long.
CompsognathusMember0 XPJun-02-2013 3:21 PMEvery Di long I've seen has had either no crest or a very small, not very noticeable one.
AllosaurusMember4115 XPMay-06-2017 6:07 PMWell, times have changed, and I would have to concur with you, buddy, but for a different reason. My affinity for Albertosaurus sarcophagus comes from the fact that it was the first of the Tyrannosauridae other than Tyrannosaurus rex that I knew. The idea of a smaller, slimmer, faster T.rex fascinated me, and Albertosaurus got me interested in other Tyrannosaurids such as Gorgosaurus and Daspletosaurus. Overall, Albertosaurus is my favourite non-T.rex Tyrannosaur because it got me interested in the rest of the Tyrannosauridae family.
