CompsognathusMember2 XPJul-04-2013 3:23 PMAt 43 feet long and 7-8 tons, Carcharodontosaurus was one of the largest Theropod every lived. It was likely even longer than Tyrannosaurus.

His skull is about 1.56 meters long, with serrated teeth up to 12 cm long.

His opponent is Giganotosaurus. It was a close relative of Carcharodontosuarus, but likely with a larger skull. Giganotosaurus was around 43 feet long and 7-8 tons.

Who win in this close figth?
For me, Giganotosaurus is the winner. It have a larger skull=wider bite, and longer teeth.

Hi
CompsognathusMember0 XPJul-04-2013 5:41 PMSize does not really matter in my opinion. It all comes down to strength. Some predators may be bigger than Tyrannosaurus, I do stress may, but Rex is stronger than just about anything else out there. Giga and Car are pretty close. I'm gonna say Giga because it was slightly more advanced.

CompsognathusMember0 XPJul-04-2013 7:55 PMGiga, it was anywhere from 40-53 feet long and 7-13 tons. Lower estimate, Carchar, upper estimate Giga. At parity, Giga because it had a longer skull. The longest of any theropod, as a matter of fact.

CompsognathusMember0 XPJul-04-2013 8:00 PMIt may have the longest, Spino may rival this, but it is certainly not the strongest. That goes to Tyrannosaurus. But this is not about Rex. I agree, Giga would probably win. But I think it's because it was more advance than Carchar, but not by much.

CompsognathusMember1 XPJul-05-2013 6:56 AMcarchara and giga are so similar in weaponry and size and body design , it would be literally a toss of a coin ! there has been some scientists have even stated they could be the same species lol I can see some differencials though and Im sure u guys can too.

Actually, Makaveli, Spinosaurus had an eight foot long skull, he has the longest head. And I'm not sure about giga being 50 feet, maybe there was a 47 foot long giga at one time, but I could always be wrong.
It's a pretty even fight here though, I think it's about 50/50.
Youre fat, and I'm not sugarcoating it cause you'd probably eat that too.
