Hello All!

If you haven't Noticed, The Teaser Creeps, Closer... And closer, Like a hungry D-rex stalking it's prey...

Each day, Fans Uncover more and More on the "Masrani Corp." Website...

But, i've got a Serious Question...

What is Hammonds Role in the Film?

Unfortunatley, Richard Attenborough Left this world, And moved to another last summer.

But, he obviously Plays a Role in the Movie Cannon... So what is it?

My current Theory, Is that.

Ingen Tried a Last Ditch attempt during the events of TLW to ressurect their Genetics Program with Existing Hardware... The events of TLW Proved Unfruitful and The company Started to sink slowly. Then, Masrani Coperation Decided to Save the Company from Bankruptcy, In 1998 (This is current cannon, And it's on the Website.)

Until release it will remain unknown if Hammond does play a role in the Company Trading hands,And how big it is, Seeing how Currently he is Constantly Patronized in the Webiste.

My current Belief is Hammond was still CEO Of Ingen when it traded hands after his Nephews Untimely Demise. Hammond most Likely struck up a Deal with Masrani after the Events of TLW. With Masrani A poetentail new Backer to Refund hammonds dream.

Ingen was taken in, And given new Life.

During the Events of JP3, (2001) The Park is Most likely Still under Construction, With a Believed release of 03-05. Completely Top Secret like the Former park.

What bothers me, Is that Site B Is still sitting Unused during that time. Which is weird Considering it's about 70% bigger then Nublar... And is still and Asset of Ingen Under Masrani Corperation. Unless due to its Over population of Predators they deam it a "Phase B" Plan for later or Sequels.

It's Fairly likely that the US Navy has such a Quick Response time, Due to them Patroling Nublar at the Request of Masrani Corp.

Which bothers me again... because JP3 No longer Ties into the Cannon like it should, Unless Colin Decided not to Neglect Cannon and Tied it in...

But that should be answered in JW.

Anyways... 2003 To 2005 The park is opened, Hammonds Death Most likey happened anywhere from 06, To 14.

It is highly Likely, That Richard Attenborough Is Mention or Plays a small role, Or has an Appearance in the film, Because He is still that Sugnifigent.

Life cannot be contained, it breaks walls, crashes through barriers sometimes painfully, but uh... Life uh, finds a way

This is probably pretty accurate with how the movie go. I'm going to feature this.

Very good theory Paden.

How I see it is that Marsani is probably going to get Site B and make it appear like it never happened, and just make it an urban legend/myth created by Ian Malcolm. Kind of what America tried to do with Area 51.

Until then, this is interesting, I imagine they will mention things like "Hammond's dreams are finally a reality" and things like that. Hopefully he plays a bigger role.

IT'S TIME TO DU-DU-DU-DU-DUEL!!!

X_PADEN_X - These are fantastic points you've made! I certainly hope that we get a little information (perhaps a cameo) from Sir Attenborough; that would really help to tie things together - and might just make me tear up a bit! Blast it, I'm going to have to take a roll of tissues in my purse to this bloody film just in case! :)

"Anyways... 2003 To 2005 The park is opened, Hammonds Death Most likey happened anywhere from 06, To 14."

The Masrani site clearly states:
In 1997 Simon Masrani began talks to acquire International Genetic Technologies after the passing of Dr. John Hammond in order to reshape and restore the company to a level of satisfaction once sought by the former founder. By 1998 InGen was under the Masrani umbrella and the years from 2002 to 2004 would help lead the Masrani company on their biggest adventure yet: the construction of Jurassic World on Isla Nublar.

So to me it looks like Hammond died somewhere in '97/'98.

MORTAEL - What a fantastic bit of detective work you've brought us! I hadn't seen the information stating that Hammond passed in the late '90s. Excellent work! :)

I saw this pic the other day online and I think it relates to this topic quite nicely...

^^ That is beautiful... :')

I believe what Raptor-401 said is most accurate, unless Masrani makes a Phase B...

I still believe that JP3 would be canon with the new film.

to be fair you were right with a lot of things PADEN. except the hammond death date . 98 is mentioned.

The sequals are irrelavent to the first film. The only reason we have a backing story is because hammond tells malcolm at the beginning of TLW. so really we can bypass the sequels as if they dont exist in relavence to the new film.

Dont get me wrong though. Wu could have spent the last 10 years on site B doing research and it could be included . but all i meant is that JW doesnt HAVE to tie in to the sequels to make sense.

SAYING THAT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHERE THAT STUPID SPINO CAME FROM AND WHY THE RAPTORS HAVE FEATHERS . ( DIFFERENT VERSION MAYBE)

I WASNT DISRESPECTING ANY COMMENTS BTW

Site B is a designeted sanctuary for dinosaurs as proposed in TLW. In JP3, it was designated restricted. If Masrani wanted to start over with cloning, it's unlikely he would attempt any claim to Isla SornaPerhaps it's best to leave Site B alone and let the dinosaurs rule. What is interesting to learn is what animals survived the napalm bombing on Nublar after the White Rabbit virus crippled the park, and what animals survived, only to reemerge when Jurassic Wored started up.
