CompsognathusMember0 XP2014-11-27 18:35:00In the dinosaurs section, velociraptors are not listed. Again... I can't help but wonder why these creatures, which we know are in the movie, aren't getting any mention. Intriguing, to say the least.

@Shambs
Wait what?
Does that mean it got out before?
Also... If it happened during the course of the movie, Would the scars not be fresh?
Life cannot be contained, it breaks walls, crashes through barriers sometimes painfully, but uh... Life uh, finds a way
TriceratopsMember204 XP2014-11-27 21:07:00I highly doubt that is Rexy. Not for the obvious reasons of her being too old and/or frail. But look at her physique. She looks too thin to be her. Rexy (from what I remember in the clips of JP that I watch all the time), is stockier and bigger than this female.
And yet, her scars are so similar to the wounds that Big One inflicted on her moments before she was killed. But maybe that's just some nostalgia thrown in the image just for us.
As impressed as I am, I couldn't help but notice an error: they said the first T-rex found was named Sue.
CompsognathusMember0 XP2014-11-27 23:59:00@ Noah, but they got the "strongest bite force ever" part right!

CompsognathusMember0 XP2014-11-28 00:00:00Also, didn't they say in the brochure that the Rex was a male? Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Tyrannosaurus RexMember6270 XP2014-11-28 04:14:00It says the Rex weighs 8000kg. Correct me if I'm wrong, but one kg is equal to 2.2 or so pounds. Let's just call a kg 2 pounds here, to be safe. At 8000kg, that's 16 000 pounds. That's around 8 tons. That's a good size animal.
Also, that Rex is flippin' awesome.
Jack of all trades. Master of none
AllosaurusMember4297 XP2014-11-28 07:48:00^ I agree.

CompsognathusMember1 XP2014-11-28 08:08:00i think its her! i dont see why not. It is a fantistic CG model. u can tell its not animatronic by the pose and that its the full animal. I think we will get both. Collin Trevorrow knows what he is doing, and he is such a huge fan like us that he is making it for us!! he wont dissapoint!
The rex looks very similar to the first film with colouration and the scars, it would make sense if it was the raptor attack which their from.
CompsognathusMember0 XP2014-11-28 08:56:00Guys, it's not Rexy. The scars are on the wrong side. :/
The scene where TBO attacks Rexy

CompsognathusMember0 XP2014-11-28 10:32:00@Silver_Falcon
But which side does Rexy flip TBO over onto to get her? Just sayin'

CompsognathusMember0 XP2014-11-28 11:58:00Oh, didn't notice that... Maybe it is after all?
Here, have a waffle (-'.')-#
CompsognathusMember0 XP2014-11-28 13:19:00Maybe! I'm still skeptical. The brochure referred to the Rex as male. So this may just be a nostalgia-based picture.

CompsognathusMember0 XP2014-11-28 14:23:00Where does it say that the T-Rex they have is a male?
Also just watched the video myself. Those scars on the image here:

From what I see those scars match up almost perfectly. Watch the video from 2:40 through 2:43. You'll see what I mean.
