I had intended to edit it, but it wouldn't let me edit it, so I requested it get deleted and reposted this. I like having all the information in the discussion as opposed to comments, because I feel that people are more likely to read the whole posty if it's in this area instead of in the comments.

First thoughts: Holy sh!t, that was bloody awesome.
After second time watching: Holy sh!t, that was bloody awesome.
Anyway, here's what I think and what I saw.
The Raptors were really cool. They look menacing, and they sound menacing. It looked like they were about to attack Owen, but I doubt they were. They might be awaiting a new command.
The I-Rex was quite something. As it stands, from the two trailers, I retract all the crap I've said about her. She's awesome. That doesn't change the fact that I want Rex to show her who's boss, but the I-Rex is pretty sweet. She's powerful, she's big, she may be the most dangerous thing the franchise has ever seen.
Anyone notice when the Pteranodons were attacking, one picked up a woman? Never seen a woman die in the trilogy, but it would appear as though that has changed. Wonder if they'll kill off a kid or two as well. I actually want to see that (yes, I am kinda sick and twisted).
The gun nut that I am is screaming to be let out after seeing Owen's rifle. I have a theory on what it is. If you'd like, just comment wether or not you'd like to see my theory, and I'll post it.

The whole I-rex looks stupid to me. That's just my opinion, of course, I'm glad that somebody likes this film. I don't like it, though, and it's quite funny, because here JW will arrive a day before than USA, so I could watch it befre than almost everybody here.

cool, you don't like the movie cuz its "not accurate" well, again, there's absolutely no point in complaining about a science fiction movie. Cau has already been called out on that by the people commenting on his blog, if you haven't noticed. why?

you can have your opinion but, i'll reiterate it again, it dumb to go about nitpicking the innacuracies of a science fiction movie.

CompsognathusMember0 XPFeb-02-2015 4:27 PMI've already said that what I dislike is I-rex, not inaccuracies. Hell, JP is full of inaccuracies, nobody cares about a scaled Dromeosaurid (if it's a JP Dromeosaurid). I-rex looks very awful though.

Not everyone is going to watch a movie just because that's what most people are going to do. Not everyone watches a movie just because the trailer had cool cars, big guns and explosions. Everyone has different tastes, so just leave him alone. He's allowed to state his opinion. Do I agree with it? Not really. Does his opinion affect my opinion on the trailer? No, not at all.

Also, as for the size thing of I-rex, there is a backstory where on the Masrani site that shows they have been able to create technology that allows them to manipulate DNA and other genetic coding to their pleasure. They most likely manipulated the size genes of Tyrannosaurus and Giganotosaurus in the movie to make the "Giant" genes dominant to please the crowd. Just sayin'

i don't truly like her design, I know I said otherwise. But I just don't like her jaws or those weird bumps on her neck( they creep me out).
CompsognathusMember0 XPFeb-03-2015 12:04 PMI liked the trailer and am still squealing like a girl over the raptors but there are a couple of things that caught the hairy eyeball from me; first is the apparent size of the Mosasaur. That great white looked like a goldfish in that shot. I can hear Howard Cosell in the back of my mind saying "Godzilla, you've got yourself some competition". Second is the lack of T. rex and Spino. Hey, those two are stars and the least they can do is an autograph signing. Finally, it is my understanding that I. rex has some sort of camoflage ability (correct me if I am wrong). Isn't this dude bad enough without it?
Oh well, I still enoyed the trailer and I have my raptors (dances like Snoopy atop Schroeder's' piano).

Haha, lame knock off of a Vader quote out the way, I think that not putting them in the trailer makes people want to see then movie just to find out where Rex and Spino are. No Rex in the trailer, I bet Rex kicks some major ass in the movie. Rex Redemsion and then some.
