Part 2
The Meeting
Owen and Hamada walked into the board room. Almost everyone else was there. It was 9:30, a half hour after the park closed. Some of the scientists were there, the technicians were there, and the main handlers were there. They were waiting for Dr. Henry Wu and the boss.
When Wu and the boss arrived, the boss started the discussion.
"Alright, you know why we're here, so let's get down to it. Who has an idea for a new attraction?"
One of the scientists made a suggestion.
"How about a Great White Shark that's the size of Megalodon?"
"Interesting. It'll give the illusion that we cloned a Megalodon. Any other ideas?"
The room was silent for a minute. Hamada and Owen were a bit nervous to say their idea because it seemed crazy.
"Anyone have an idea? Anyone at all?"
Owen spoke up.
"I've got one."
"Well, go on, say it."
"We need something capable of stopping the I-Rex. Even our most powerful tranquilizer rounds only take it down for five minutes, ten at the most."
"And what are you suggesting we do."
"I was thinking, maybe a T-Rex. Larger than I-Rex, and different colours than the other Tyrannosaurs."
"Interesting idea Owen. Go on."
"It has to be intelligent too. Smart like Blue and the other Velociraptors."
"Why?"
"Well, it needs to be trainable. To take orders. If it's big enough to stop the I-Rex, it would be capable of some major damage. We need some form of damage control, so it should take orders."
"I like that idea. Wu, you getting this?"
Wu responded with a simple, "Yes sir."
"Anyone object?"
There was no answer.
"Alright then, it's settled. Our new attraction will be a larger, more powerful Tyrannosaurus Rex. You can go now."
Everyone left the room, and Owen and Hamada started talking when they got outside.
"Nice work Owen."
"Thanks Hamada."
The boss saw them and walked over to them.
"Owen, did you have any specific colours in mind?"
"I'll think about for a minute."
"Take your time."
"I've got it. Jet black with a red stripe running down his spine. Maybe Wu could make his eyes red too."
"Sounds pretty cool. I'll see what Wu can do."
