From rumors I've heard, in a video on youtube, a guy says that the Idomimus Rex is not yet fully grown. The one showcased in the Superbowl Trailer is not yet grown. It leaves me hoping that in the movie, they show the Fully Grown Idomimus Rex and shows his or hers changes throughout the movie.

Well if she's fully grown in the trailer and based on the size charts of all the park inhabitents, her size would be T-Rex size, however, since she is blended with various DNA of other theripod  carnivores, she could grow larger. Not as large as spinosaurus but potentially Giganotasaurus size. Indominus is the ultimate predator of the new era, who knows how powerful she is! We will all find out when we go back to that island, The Park Is Open!!!!

It is no doubt that Indominus is no Barbie doll and will be pretty damn strong and big. But in terms of size, do you realise that growing to Giganotosaurus size basically means same as T-Rex anyway, since Giganotosaurus and Rex were actually the same size with Rex being maybe a couple hundred kilos heavier (which is like the difference when one just had a nice meal and the other didn't) and Giga being about a meter longer (give or take)? It is out of date to place Giganotosaurus as a bigger predator than Rex, as they were in fact the same size based on the largest reconstruction of Giga and Sue the most complete and largest Rex specimen described. The reconstruction was done by the guy who's known to be the best in doing skeletal reconstructions and weight estimates, his name is Scott Hartman.

There is also one good specimen in Canada nicknamed Scotty, and it has the potential of being larger than Sue, if not in llength, then possibly in weight. It looks beefier and more robust than Sue according to many who have already seen it, and has the potential of being heavier as well, but no paper was released on it yet.

As for Spinosaurus, it was definitely longer, but highly unlikely to have been heavier than Rex, probably about the same, as it's body was narrower and skinnier according to the most recent discoveries and studies. Even if you meant the movie Spino - it wasn't established how large they could grow, which means that we cannot be certain if the one in JP3 was fully grown or not. We only know that the T-Rx it killed was not a fully grown (or if fully grown, then definitely not the largest possible size of the adult specimen for that matter - put it whichever way you like) as the Rexes from the first and second films. Well, and the fourth one as well now, for that matter lol.

Does that make sense?

It was designed to be bigger than T. rex, soooo.........

Also, the JW website states the I. rex at currently 40 ft. long.

I guess we still need to wait till the film comes out - that's the only way we know for sure. They must mention it somehwere in the movie of what maximum size that thing can reach, unless it is basically going to be just like T-Rex, but with bigger arms and a head similar to an abelisaur or allosaur, or whatever.

im guessing its rather larger from the latest trailer. the scene where all the herbivores are dead on the field could mean that i rex is huge. and definately mean
