Film just got rated in Ontario, Canada
http://www.ofrb.gov.on.ca/ofrb/OfrbWelcomeAction.do?detailParameter=2000121538
PG for:
- FRIGHTENING SCENES
- VIOLENCE
- NOT RECOMMENDED FOR YOUNG CHILDREN
In Canada all movies are rated separtaly in each provice/region, there is no National Rating system

Interesting, so I see this movie will probably have a "darker" tone than the other movies.
Thanks for sharing!
IT'S TIME TO DU-DU-DU-DU-DUEL!!!

Most PG-13 films in the states end up PG here, with the odd PG-13 film ending up 14A; those are usually horror films (the new Poltergeist for example).
I'll most more Canadian ratings if I see them

Yeah, although I live in America I know the Canadian rating equivalent of PG-13 over here.
Also, forgot to say, welcome to the forums, I am one of the mods here so if you ever have a question about this site you can ask me by PM or you can ask anyone else here.
IT'S TIME TO DU-DU-DU-DU-DUEL!!!

But no Creature Violence, like Godzilla. That doesn't mean no Indominus Rex Vs T-Rex, does it?

JAKEG99 - Welcome to SCIFIED! It is always great to see new faces! Thank you ever so much for the information you have shared; I find the Film Rating system you have detailed to be most compelling! Once again, welcome to SCIFIED! :)

DINOZILLA0439 - Oh, I would not worry about the notion you have presented. The likelihood of there being no "creature violence" in Jurassic World is - from what I can tell - astronomically low! Chin up! :)

In Canada most provinces are bound by specific content advisories they can use to describe a film. So you will only find these descriptions in the ratings.
Since the system is government regulated, they need to be very transparant (they can't just make up descriptions like the MPAA).

JAKEG99 - How very interesting! I was not aware of the information you have presented in this topic; it certainly helps to clarify a few misunderstandings I once possesed! Thank you ever so much! :)

DINOZILLA0439 -
Well, we are talking about an entirely different country here.
Canada's rating systems are most likely different from the MPAA.
