Anti-Rex Redemption

To see if I am the only one who feels the way I do, I decided to set up this thread and ask one question: in relation to Spinosaurus, who else is against Rex Redemption?

I am a Rex fan, and have been all my life, but I'm also a Spino fan and honestly I hate the idea of Jurassic World trying in some way to show that Tyrannosaurus Rex is better than Spinosaurus. As much as I wanted to see some kind of cameo for Spino in the film, now I'd rather they left it out if they have no good intentions for it.

The fact is, there are Spino fans out there, and do something like having the T-Rex knock over the Spino skeleton is really just going to wind up bothering them, even if it makes the Rex (only) fans happy. It's just repeating the original scenario again (having Spino beat Rex, bothering Rex fans), but just switching sides.

I could be the only one who feels this way, and if this thread gets no comments I'll get my answer, but I was just curious as to whether or not I was alone in this.

Note to Rex Fans: As I said, I am also a fan of T-Rex. A big one, actually. I simply don't like the way  Jurassic World might be handling Spino, the same way you guys didn't like how T-Rex was beaten in JP3. This post was in no way supposed to annoy, frustrate, bother, upset, or in any way insult Rex fans.

Thanks for reading!

KASEY KOCKROACH - Welcome to SCIFIED! It is always quite agreeable to see new faces! I happen to find your hypothesis to be quite likely - and very insightful. Jurassic Park 3, in my opinion, was a fun diversion. It did not require me to lend my reasoning power whatsoever - a breath of fresh air in some regards! I may not have enjoyed certain aspects of the film's plot, however, I can say with certainty that I am not ardently opposed to it. Once again, welcome to SCIFIED! :)

LORD VADER - You make a very fine point! I greatly enjoy the way in which you presented your argument in a down-to-Earth manner; it makes it feel organic and extremely valid by virtue of being honest truth! As an aside, I am certain that you were a perfectly nice and respectful eight year old. :)

Howdy,

Let's keep in mind trying to STEER away from Spino or Rex discussions in the future. This one seems pretty safe and such, so I'll try not to intervene, but try and keep it clean guys.

Life cannot be contained, it breaks walls, crashes through barriers sometimes painfully, but uh... Life uh, finds a way

Oh crap, it's the fuzz, quick, hide the Rex and Spino action figures!

It just occurred to me that a Rex skeleton was destroyed in the original. So what if a Spino skeleton gets destroyed? That's just Rexy being Rexy. She sees a skeleton, she destroys it I guess.

X_PADEN_X - OH! Hahaha! Um, nothing to see here, sir...

*quickly places Spinosaurus and Tyrannosaurs "dino-damage" figures in purse and walks away whistling* ;)

LOL Vader that is actually so funny, "Spots a skeleton DIE!" Reminds me of the Budk in TLW biting the traffic light, or more specifically my rabbit Popcorn, he sees a either an action figure of my brothers or sees a peice of paper, instantly attacks it and bites...

But yeah I am very Anti-Rex Redemption, I love both animals!

oh I personally think the spino skele being brought down is just collateral damage during the T-rex vs I-rex fight, and i think it would be quite an epic one since Josh Gad twitted,

"Last 20 minutes of the movie is cinematic bliss" well, just me thinking positively. :)

Something Real: well, well, well im amused at this innocent question by someone who is so intellectually competent. :)

"Lambho and Bugatti"

Those ma'lady are cars. :)

SAURORNITHOIDES - OH! Hahaha! I-I am so very embarrassed! Please, forgive my foolishness. I will make a focused effort to not be so foolish in the future. Ugh! I am such a dunce! I will continue to berate myself in a few cycles. Until then, thank you very much for sharing this illuminating information with me, good sir. :)

Lamborghinis and Bugattis aren't just any cars, they're high end supercars. The prices are in 6 figure territory, and that's about all the knowledge I have on those things. The engine is usually in the middle too. That's all I really know. Personally, I prefer class American muscle over anything else when it comes to cars.

LORD VADER - What is "class American muscle"? :)

**AL** - OH! Hahaha! Thank you. Once again, I am proving that I do not have a solid grasp on certain subjects. Oh, well; we live and learn! That is all part of the fun! :)

Meant 'classic' there, not class.

Haha, Al got it, the big old gas guzzlers from the 60's and 70's such as Dodge, Plymouth, Chevrolet, and Pontiac.

Oh darn, this happens right as I am about to create a championship belt and present it to Spino. :p
