These dinosaurs are very similar in fact they are so similar when Mapusaurus was discovered it was misidentified as a spieces of Giganotisaurus. They are roughly the same size and have the same amount of power except Map is slenderer than Giga. So what do you think?

THE RWK - Hmm...now this is a very compelling scenario! Given the sizes of the animals you have presented and the knowledge we have concerning both animals, I would have to say that Giganotosaurus would be the winner in a battle between the two. In my opinion, Giganotosaurus is simply a sturdier and more powerful animal than Mapusaurus. This was a very interesting topic to ponder! Thank you ever so much for sharing this with us! :)

I'd say Giganotosaurus because of the general bulkier build than that of Mapusaurus. I know this will be off topic, but do you think it's possible for Mapusaurus and Giganotosaurus to have made a hybrid carcharodontosaurid, given that they were probably genetically very similar.
