Given the sizes of the animals you have presented and the knowledge we have concerning both animals, I would have to say that Giganotosaurus would be the winner in a battle between the two. In my opinion, Giganotosaurus is simply a sturdier and more powerful animal than Mapusaurus. This was a very interesting topic to ponder! Thank you ever so much for sharing this with us! :)

I know this will be off topic, but do you think it's possible for Mapusaurus and Giganotosaurus to have made a hybrid carcharodontosaurid, given that they were probably genetically very similar.
