Who Will Know: Listen at the end.
Maledictus Dominum tumbled and rolled in tremendous emotional and physical agony down a rock slope—headed towards the bottom of the same ravine his father died within. The demon’s arms and legs were broken, along with his spirit, as sand clung to his hide and sharp rocks embedded themselves within his flesh. The sounds of the World stopped, as he finally crashed down into the rubble-barren ravine; rocks tumbled down after him, smashing into other rocks—splitting them apart, much like the brain of Maledictus. He crashed down back on his right-side, and broke nearly all of his ribs—this injury of most severe nature meant nothing to him though, nothing.
Maledictus Dominum does not care about pain—he cares about fulfilling his own goal, and since he has regeneration pain has no effect to him—only defeat does, much like his father. His bones fluctuated to heal in an annoyingly perfect manner—it always comes in just in time to save this monster from death. His ribs, arms, feet and legs all regenerated, before he rolled over to his side and stood up from the ravine. The only light was the moon, and it even failed to penetrate the thick mist shield that dramatized the atmosphere of this haunted fissure. Maledictus Dominum breathed in deeply and grasped his snout with his right arm; he had been defeated—conquered, by insignificant beings.
He began to swell with rage, and his anger illuminated his body—as he began to glow a bright melted red. The exit of the ravine was practically sealed off by a blockade of debris—enough that he could have knocked over, had he had his hold strength; regeneration comes at a price—the same one for Nequit. Through repair of bones he loses muscularity and stamina in those areas. Breaking all of his limbs and ribs—it was amazing that he could even stand; alas, the demon had been fooled—alas, the fooler had been conquered at his own game. Maledictus Dominum began to bellow in immeasurable rage—smashing boulders with his feet and ramming his face into the ravine walls.
Yet, through the impenetrable darkness and unimaginable insanity—Maledictus Dominum remembered something, Tyrance. Where was he? He had been knocked down here, an unlike Dominum was a normal beast—he had no regeneration. Maledictus began to sniff around, homing in on a scent—one of the deceased King of Dinosaurs. The demon searched through the rubble, snarling his lips and furrowing his brow, as he hurled rocks into the air—using his night-vision to see through the darkness and mist. He dug through the rubble and rock, but it was thankless—to no avail; Maledictus smelt Tyrance though—perhaps he had broken his back and tried to limp off, but died somewhere else? Maledictus began to believe this, and resigned himself to its truth.
The demon took a deep breath, before walking over to his father’s corpse; he trotted over to the interior of the cliffside, and gazed for minutes at the decayed body of Nequit Dominum. All was silent—not a creak nor a crumble. Solitude and peace, for the Unstoppable Lord—but not for the Cursed Lord. Maledictus Dominum stood there, looking at his father—before walking out of the cavern, back to the ravine. A scent came back to his olfactory bulbs—the one of Tyrance; it smelt different though—as though Tyrance had changed. He knew the slayer of the Unstoppable Lord was dead—he was certain that he had killed him, no one else.
The cliffside began to crack and crumble, as Dominum’s disturbance reawakened the graveyard. The demon began to worry once again—how was he to escape this isolation. He thought and pondered his predicament, never realizing that he had gotten himself into his own nightmare, and was now doomed to the same fate as his father—unwanted solitude. He looked around his perimeter, as he thought he had heard a sound; his fears were not wrong.
The demon turned back to face the mist and was met with the force of two freight-trains ramming into his gut. He felt as though all of his confidence, all of his power and dominion over the world faded and fell—as he collapsed to the ground. He smashed up and down alongside the rubble ground, before absorbing some of the mist with his gills to see who had done this—but his mind had already told him. Maledictus Dominum clawed up to the ground, and stared directly ahead at his final opponent. It was a being, not like the one he had killed. No, the animal he had killed was dead—erased from this world; the godlike animal smashed its three-taloned foot into the rock, staring straight into Maledictus Dominum’s eyes all throughout.
Maledictus Dominum felt his stomach twist, and his skin crawl—as a new animal stood before him. The animal’s muscles rippled and shook, as it snarled and bared its dagger teeth. Maledictus Dominum came to realize it—what stood before him was not some theropod, no—it was the most powerful animal to have ever walked the Earth, it was the slayer of his father. It was no easily killable Tyrant King, no—it was not. He had killed the Tyrant King that had killed his father, but in-turn had evolved it passed its dormant stage. Maledictus Dominum shuttered and felt his knees buckle, as the animal released a bellow from its regal maw. With each passing moment, it became known; gone was the Tyrant King—arisen, has the Tyrant Lord. It felt as though the two spirits of the deceased warriors in the ravine, the Spinosaurus Egypt, and the demon Nequit Dominum stood behind the two combatants—one new, and the other known.
The Tyrant Lord released yet another bellow, and Maledictus Dominum reciprocated such—before the final battle for the fate of everything—the Cursed Lord vs the Tyrant Lord began. It seemed like the entire world shook, as the Tyrant Lord obliterated rocks in his charge towards Maledictus. The demon could do nothing, and was hurled aside by the unbeatable unrivaled Lord of Theropods—who seemingly effortlessly knocked the fifteen-ton demon to the ground. The Tyrant Lord clamped onto his neck and smashed him into one of the ravine walls furiously, and with unrelenting merciless rage. Blood streamed down the Maledictus’s back as he sang in pain, before he sank his claws into The Tyrant Lord’s neck and shoved him back.
Only trace amounts of blood fell from the Lord of Predator’s neck, as he seemed to absorb the shove, before charging right back at Maledictus and smashing him into the wall yet again. Maledictus felt three of his ribs collapse like grapes underneath two fingers, as the Tyrant Lord’s skull completely pulverized the demon’s stamina and will. Maledictus could do nothing, as the etherial-like theropod clamped onto his neck and twirled him away from the wall before throwing him—pulling back with his teeth to leave a devastating blood riddled scar in his wake. Maledictus Dominum screeched, before lifting his tail up and smashing it into the Tyrant Lord’s torso.
The beast clamped onto Dominum’s tail, and pulled him closer by it, before lunging for the back of his neck. The tragedy of Maledictus Dominum became truly visible, as his eyes closed, and his power became null and void against the sheer might of the Slayer of Nequit Dominum. The etherial-theropod bit down with twenty-four thousand pounds of pure pressure, shattering the shoulder-blade of Maledictus. As the shoulder broke Tyrance’s teeth pierced the calcium-rich bone, and a loud crunch was heard as his teeth went deeper. Maledictus Dominum tried his hardest to claw back and retaliate, but he could not even regenerate—as the Tyrant Lord knew the tricks of him and his father, and held him down—further tightening his clamp onto his shoulder.
It seemed like the rage and sorrow-filled agony of all the animals the Dominums have killed further powered the clamp from the Tyrant Lord—for it felt like the entire weight of the World was demolishing Maledictus Dominum. The once unbeatable demon, the son of the Unstoppable Lord felt his right knee collapse underneath a kick from the Tyrant Lord’s muscular leg; Maledictus Dominum, in this last moment, he wandered back to his upbringing. He had been tortured so, and had been given nothing. The hatred of a sentient mind overcame his innate good, and turned a possibly normal creation—into a monster. He saw Nequit Dominum’s spirit standing behind Tyrance, looking at him with those emotionless red eyes. Maledictus Dominum’s hatred for the World and himself filled him with a second wind of power, and he cackled maniacally—before ramming the Tyrant Lord’s pelvis with his tail, and clawing him off with his left arm.
Maledictus quickly regenerated his shoulder, although it still barely functioned, before expelling gas out of his gills in a final attempt to end his suffering, and avenge his father. The Tyrant Lord knew what was coming, and with the power of all of the World at his side, tilted his skull to the upper right, before hammering it down onto the snout of Maledictus Dominum; the demon’s jaw was broken, making him helpless against the onslaught from the Tyrant Lord—whom sliced his body with his teeth. Maledictus knocked over the Lord of Predators with his tail, before stomping his skull with his feet. It meant nothing, as the animal quickly lunged up and rammed Dominum’s right side with his skull—breaking even more ribs.
Maledictus socked the Tyrant Lord’s skull with a haymaker and a hook, before breathing in deeply, and expelling a wave of dark-red fire from his maw. Even The Tyrant Lord bellowed in pain, and fell to the ground against the sheer power. The Tyrant Lord was repelled for a mere moment, giving the Cursed Lord enough time to stagger and limp inside the cavern his father died within. Without any hesitation, the demon stumbled over to the original demon, and bent down. The Cursed Lord tore off the arm of the Unstoppable Lord, before hobbling back out to face his rival—who had already stood back up.
The Lord of Beast’s dewlap swelled with air, as he silenced the land with his coo—before charging the demon; The Cursed Lord revealed the arm of The Unstoppable Lord, immediately stopping the charge of The Tyrant Lord—who remembered it from his battle. The demon winded his arm back, before barraging the Lord of Predators with the claw; the etherial-dinosaur was taken aback, and sliced down his scalp by the arm—tearing out some of his feathers, replacing them with blood. Maledictus Dominum rammed his knuckles into the Tyrant Lord’s maw, before slicing his underbelly with Dominum’s arm, and throwing him to the ground.
His name came back to him in a flash as-well, Tyrance—Tyrance. His failures also flooded him, when he had been unable to save his parents from a pack of Giganotosaurus—when he let Nequit Dominum kill his brother and sister, and nearly kill his mate. The Tyrant Lord’s will fell, as his eyes closed—he believed himself to be a failure. As the Cursed Lord gained momentum and strength his flame sac grew in size, inflating his stomach and throat, as he prepared to end the Tyrant Lord once and for all. Tyrance opened his eyes one last time; through the darkness, he saw a figure—a being.
The Tyrant Lord widened his amber eyes, and it became visible—Egypt. The Spinosaurus was staring at Tyrance from his on all fours position, before fading away. The Lord of Predator’s body filled with emotion and pain—he owes it to the World to save it. Maledictus Dominum furrowed his brow and bellowed a screeching roar, as his foe yet again stood up, and this time he was not going down. The Tyrant Lord thought of his family and his entire life, before bellowing his alpha roar, and turning to face the demon for the final time. The Cursed Lord took a deep breath, before in a last attempt to defeat the slayer of demons, expelled a beam.
Tyrance trilled in pain and ducked his head low, as the blood-red fire burned his body, but he was not going to surrender. The Tyrant Lord painfully placed one foot in-front of the other, and slowly began a light walk—using all of his ubiquitous will to persevere. The Cursed Lord increased the intensity of his beam, the fire now becoming pure black in color like the mist, but it was not enough! All of Tyrance’s life flowed through his eyes, as each step was fueled solely by his family. The Tyrant Lord, the truly unstoppable Master of the Dinosaurs, with a final lunge clamped onto the front of Maledictus’s neck.
The fire stopped, as the Tyrant Lord, using all the power in his body tilted Dominum’s neck upwards; the demon dropped his father’s arm from his grasp, as his body was thrusted upwards, still spraying maroon-red fire out at the sky. The demon clawed back and forth at Tyrance’s body, as he was knocked back—losing all control of his body, and losing air. The Tyrant Lord bit down harder, as he rammed his feet into Maledictus’s legs—collapsing him to the ground. Fire still beamed upwards, as Tyrance closed his eyes and converted all of his will into his bite.
Maledictus threw his head around, as the fire stopped; it was over. The Cursed Lord felt his organs stop, and lost all feeling in his muscles. His neck began to crack and break underneath the Tyrant Lord; the, Cursed Lord, finally dwelled back to his mother. He remembered something that he had forgotten—the love and care that went into his upbringing. The demon’s hatred dwindled, as he remembered the love that went into raising him—the love that he killed in an instant. The hatred tried to resurge through thoughts of him never being able to get a mate, but even that was overshadowed by one thing—Verendus, his mother.
The demon conceded defeat, as methane stopped flowing from his gills. The sentient mind cried out in mourning for what he had done—he began to realize everything. Maledictus Dominum then pondered his father—he could not just let him have died for nothing, no! If he was to die, his killer had to. The mutant seemed to have had a revelation, as he no longer cared about himself, and merely wished to kill Tyrance; Tyrance’s eyes widened in pain but he did not release his grip, as Maledictus embedded his claws into his neck—searching for his jugular vein. The Tyrant Lord lossed his status, and fell back to his former self—the Tyrant King.
He did not have the strength to break Dominum’s neck like he did all those years ago. Dominum further sliced his neck, weakening the Tyrant Ruler even more. But, before his energy ran out—a final image appeared before him, his egg. Tyrance thought of his son and Tyria—he thought of his sister Tyrana and his brother Tyranno. He could not die to the son of the one who had killed them, he could not let him win! No!! The Tyrant Ruler returned to the Tyrant Lord, permanently, and enacted all the power he could into the bite. The Cursed Lord could do nothing, as Tyrance, with all the power of all of those that had died at the demon’s claws, clamped down.
The pain was unbearable, but The Tyrant Lord had to persevere--for the fate of the future. Like the lightning in the back, his bite-force grew in an instant—leaping from twenty-four thousand pounds, to forty thousand. Unprecedented, unbelievable. The Cursed Lord could do nothing, as his neck was easily broken underneath the jaws of the Tyrant Lord. Maledictus Dominum fell lifeless under the maw of the Lord of all Predators—whom threw him to the ground. Blood streamed down Tyrance’s body from all sides, as he analyzed the corpse of the Cursed Lord; the demon’s mouth was agape, and his eyes were closed.
His unstoppable rage, had been stopped—for the final time.
