A new, giant Cretaceous therapod has recently been uncovered in Mongolia, dating back about 85 million years ago! According to this report, this specimen measured about 45 feet long, and arms longer than any other therapod yet discovered, with 4 wicked-sharp claws on dexterous fingers. Paleontologists have likened its appearance to the Indominus rex from Jurassic World, given its very similar anatomy.

Godzilla Generations was a beautiful game! I loved the fact that there's a laser cannon inside of Dr. Serizawa's eyepatch.
It just evolved into T.rex and Velociraptor.

However, there is some truth to this. One Jurassic World script for the I.rex was to have it as a fictional species that was discovered in China. Fortunately, Trevorrow basically vetoed that from the start. Link here.
